Who pays for a Jepp subscription on their personal IPAD? If the company wants to issue me a serial number id be glad to use Jepp plates on my Ipad.

I know for a fact they are working on ipads at 9E. Now, they are in the "Development" stage but have software set up for testing and are NOT using them on the line. One of the guys working on the project showed me some photos of them working on the "holder" which involved removing the clipboard part and having a bracket that holds the ipad. I was told they are a year out IF the project gets the final green light.

My buddy got back from re-current on the XJ side. He said D.Wilson talked about the Ipads coming in 4 phases. Within a year, all 4 phases will be implemented with a paperless flightdeck. Captains and FO's will be issued an Ipad every 3 years. No more revisions, manuals, or anything else that is paper that we gotta take around. He also said that when you check in your Ipad will automatically update new memos and the sort. Pretty cool.
