Life at Republic after 3 years
Good luck to all you new hires, this place is a real piece of work...
You want to hear something really funny. I love the rumor mill at Republic and even more that it came from a mechanic. This story is about me and NO I did NOT go to INDIA. I'm on long term FMLA and my GF at the time had IFMLA. When we go married it triggered something or someone saw two people with FMLA and they tried to schedule a meeting. Well I basically did not replay. These Mother ****ers from republic went to extreme lengths to find us. They called me every day sometimes twice a day. They sent emails. They called my Mother and my Father. They also called my Wife's mother and Father. Crazy I know. Well then one day while I was in California at the Dr. office I get a call from my wife. They sent the CHQ Chief or Asst. Chief or some puppet to my apartment in Ohio to deliver a letter to confirm that we received it. They schedule 3 meetings with us. But, I was on long term FMLA so I was not going to any meeting while I was going to the Doctors Appt. and I felt I did not need to return any harassing phone calls. So I thought they would fire me, I'm come on I blew off my boss, my family told them nothing juicy, and I told Bart an email that if he wanted to talk to someone he could call the UNION. So after all of this still I couldn't get fired. So I quit. I have to say one thing. I quit and the next moment I realized I'm free from this place. One of the happiest moments of my life. So for all of you I hope you had a good story, but don't always believe what you hear second hand. I actually told a lot of people untruths at republic just to see the rumour mill go round and round. For me, this was the funniest ****. Cause some peoples lives are so ****ing boring they make **** up about others. One of my favorite comedians was Andy Koffman. So if you haven't figured it out, THE JOKE IS ON YOU ****ER. I had a good time with some off you, and those who I did know, the others well the rest you know. No one really likes you they just have to collect a pay check.
