We have MORE people per plane than last year.
Unless you have these "numbers" from 2007 I don't care. Why do you think we have more people per plane? |

Why do you think we have more people per plane? June 2010 4.7 Crew per plane. June 2011 4.9 Crew per plan I'm not a scientist but... 4.9 > 4.7 |

Looking at the email I got today.
June 2010 4.7 Crew per plane. June 2011 4.9 Crew per plan I'm not a scientist but... 4.9 > 4.7 CT sure had a lot of statistics in his note..... BTW, glad you trust management's sweet talk, but just curious how the numbers stack up when you include the big picture - are the planes flying more or less; are the crew members flying more or less; are they counting everyone online and flying or did they include LOAs, MGT, ALPA, MIL, etc; My favorite though is the following: ATL CRJ FO A4S74 06/27/2011 Block: 0:00 Credit: 2:18 TAFB: 4:03 __________________________________________________ ______________________________ Monday 06-27-2011 Report: 08:40 Release: 12:43 Flight Tail Org Dest Dep Arr Pax Block Credit D/PU Dhd Turn 1. 5205 ATL TLH 09:40 10:45 0 0:00 1:05 D 0:30 2. 5205 TLH ATL 11:15 12:28 0 0:00 1:13 D Day Total: 0:00 2:18 Duty: 4:03 __________________________________________________ ______________________________ |
Delta is handing out flying without any sense...
When a Comair gets awarded all the flights into Dallas on a Monday and ASA gets all the flights out of Dallas on Tuesday, a lot of crews are going to be sitting around Dallas hotels. Multiply this by 8 carriers and a hundred cities, and you have some serious inefficiencies. But yet it's the pilots fault for calling sick to get 12 days off in a month or for wanting an extra buck an hour...? |

We will never get Mgmt to admit we are short staffed, and they won't do anything about it either. You can talk to any other regional pilot and they'll tell you the exact same thing is happening at their company as well. It's frustrating and nothing will change.

You all must be one of those few people wanting this company to fail, aren't you? {/Sarcasm} |
