Republic jr base?

DCA you will be on reserve forever.. the last round was CMH/IND mainly ..There are some new hires in PHL/PIT andGSO but they are 2 or 3.
Remember, as long as you find someone that is willing to trade a base with you, you can swap it.. Of course, someone senior to you may block that , but that's what seniority is all about..

I've been at CHQ 4 years and have been a junior line holder the whole time. Some in my class in other bases have been on reserve the whole time. Some new hire in LGA on the Shuttle cert got 16 days off and a pretty solid line. But it all changes day to day and base to base. You could get hired onto Shuttle and they may think they are "properly staffed" and not hire again for 2 years while you see the other certificates keep growing or there could be a long line of upgrades and CHQ could become the junior certificate or it could go the other way and stagnate and Shuttle stays junior so I dunno. It's all a crap shoot. No matter what certificate you get on with if they keep hiring you'll hold a line within a few months and if they stop hiring you'll be stuck on reserve...

also be aware that any contract we eventually agree to is going to allow FO's to move certificates and airframes. But as of right now they just displaced some CA's off of Republic to S5. I don't see any new hires on the Republic for a while.
