Yup, nerd. You're at a bar typing on this site. I feel like a nerd typing right now, 22 minutes before football starts.

Certainly not. I'm not advocating drinking and driving as we all know it's stupid and a career killer. But when a person comes to a professional aviation forum with a question about his DUI 4 years prior fully contrite and knowing it will obviously affect his career, asking him "Why did you get a DUI?" is a dick question to ask. It just shows what kind of person you are. It's like asking you why you made any of the mistakes you've ever made in your life? It was a mistake. Sorry, I forgot, with all your success you've clearly never made a mistake. It means when people do something that, in retrospect, was a bad decision.

And it's not class envy. I'm glad you've had a successful career. However your other statements re: rest rules are consistently selfish in so much as implying that, while you were fortunate to reap the benefits of a fruitful aviation career, **** the rest of us as you'd just as soon pull the ladder up and watch us all drown. Why else do you consistently post on topics on the regional sub forum? We get it. You're really rich and fly something really big and you think we're all pathetic, meaningless, hacks who couldn't fly our way out of a paper sack in our stupid little RJs and turboprops. Spectacular. So sorry to be such a blemish on an industry that's given you so much. We'll all do our best to just stop existing. Now move on.

Class envy at it's finest.

Is someone forcing you, at gunpoint, to be an a$$?

Actually, you better keep typing. The more time you spend here nagging us, the longer your marriage will last.

Czech is a metro FO. Someone busted him out on another thread.

Your right. Guilty as charged.

Choose a regional you can see yourself getting stuck at. These people touting airlines with quick upgrades, just remember, something can happen in the next few months, or years, leaving you in the right seat.

You hold out for the best, unless you consider yourself a crappy pilot that can only get hired on by the crappiest regionals!

You chased a quick upgrade at TSA?!?

I think they had a 10 month upgrade back then.

Thankfully for his coworkers he is a Czech Airman, not a Check Airman. Imagine the horror of him having any type of authority.

Good luck in your quest, but any regional that hires you would be taking on a HUGE liability. Imagine the headlines if you are involved in an accident and they find out you have/had ASPD.

Wow dude! You're a total tool!

ATP, keep your head up and keep plugging. If you ever make your way up to Canada, shoot me a PM. Cheers.
