Any of you guys had issues with your ufly mic? I had to send mine in after 3 1/2 years of normal use (Mic quit working), and they are charging me $47 to fix. Kinda sad, as most other head set companies (david clark, bose etc.) seem to back there product much better than uflymike does. On top of that they sent my mic back to the wrong address. I cant say i would recommend this mic setup to anybody, as it seems to need repairs after 3 years, which you will pay for.

I'm a big BOSE supporter but I know most don't want to drop 1100 on an A20.

The wrong address thing is just a mistake, happens to the best of us.

Its more than that though, she made me think it was my fault for their mistake.

Can you use the uflymike in Part 121 ops?

Just got the Telex Ascend last week...so far I really like it! It is a little too big to fit on the top of my charts in my flight case so I have to carry it seperatly. So far that's my only complaint...and deadheads are much more enjoyable now with some music.

Yes, there tso'd now. Again, I wouldn't do it, the headset is bulletproof, the mic on the other hand wears out.

I use it in the Hawker. The thing I hate about it the most is when you go over a bump in a taxiway, or even worse, running over centerline lights (only happens when the FO is flying of course :rolleyes:), it cuts in and out... really annoying.

I have used it for over 3 years now and the only time mine cuts in and out is when the battery is low. Maybe check that next time.

I love my uflymike... Had little issues at first, cause i didn't realize i didn't have the mike pushed all the way in and it would stop working at times. but after a few flights i figured it out. the tso is just earbud headphones and a sticker. The faa trust us to fly the plane but not replace a battery. haha.. but i only wear the earbuds if a faa person is on board or checkouts
