True story:
Back in the early 2000's, a friend of a friend got a DUI on a PINK BARBIE POWER WHEELS!! He was in a fraternity, had too much to drink at a frat party, and was riding this power wheels around the yard/driveway/street of the frat house. Campus cop gave him a DUI. Is he an irresponsible menace to society? Should be be banned from professional employment for the rest of his life? |

I think that is the reason for the DUI. Had he been cruising around on a big wheel or Mean Green machine he would have been OK. But a Barbie Power wheel? That shows extremely poor judgement.
Had myself a red jeep. That thing was pretty sweet. I put some serious miles on 'er. Shoulda kept it with these gas prices bein so high. |

At a SADD event decades ago, we were instructed that if you want to sleep it off in your car, give your keys to a buddy or lock them in the trunk. Since you can not physically operate the vehicle, you can not be charged with DUI.
Keys in your posession = DUI. |
I know someone who got a DUI riding a bicycle. He fought it in court and lost. Luckily he's not a pilot.

I find it ironic that one of the banner ads in this thread (at least on my computer) is an advertisement to become a trucker for C.R. England.
