Unions made a joint proposal to management last week. No response has been received from them that has been communicated to us yet...we get another "hotline" tonight so we'll see if they commented.
Mediated negotiations start again on Monday. Hearing on the renewed motion to reject our contracts is on Tuesday (10-10). Mesaba has asked the judge to render his opinion by Friday (10-13) and they intend to impose terms on 10-15.
Mesaba has filed a request in bankruptcy court to bar any strikes by the labor unions. These arguments will be heard on Tuesday as well and decided upon on Friday with the contract part.
Meanwhile, we are in full strike preparation and coming to terms with the fact that this may be the end of the road.
Next week promises to be full of drama, I assure you!
