Default Training records

What should I do if my previous employer lost my training records? I still have copies.

Pria records are only required 5 years back if the records are good then I would offer them up. If the records are gone its not your responsibilty to furnish them These things happen I would not worry about it . Its always good to have letters of recommendations if you can get some . From a captain you flew with , check airmen or previous instructors . Just a bonus to help you stand out in the crowd . Good luck in your pursuits FP

If the records in question are within the required reportable timeframe, let the new employer know that you have copies.

Many airlines don't even do PRIA until after you start class...you will have many weeks of ground and sim before you actually reach the line, so they only expend the effort and money on people who actually show up for class.

The hazard to pilots of this approach is that they hired you based on YOUR disclosure off your flying history. You have already quit your old job and started training by the time time they learn about any problems which you failed to disclose...at which point they instantly pull you out of class and fire you. For this reason you need to be 100% sure of what is in your records, and if in any doubt at all, disclose it. Far better to not get hired in the first place than to get fired in ground school.

Thanks Rickair7777, I do have all my records with signatures for each phase of training through last day of IOE from this employer. After IOE, I don't have the records as I turned them in last day of IOE. No failures and nothing to hide but still makes me uneasy.
