Stupid T-Prop pay question
Generally speaking, why are SAAB pilots paid so much less than ATR and DASH pilots?

Because they suck....:D Probably the contract they are working under. May also be the number of seats |
With Republic flying around E190s with FOs getting paid 23$ an hour first year, jumping to only 31 the 2nd year, etc. I doubt seats have much to do with anything in the regionals, unless you're a captain. Most likely it's the ****ty contract you're working under.

Typically the SAAB is a more basic aircraft systems wise. It's little more than a 34 seat Cessna 172. Why should the company pay more to pilots who can't even use FMS?
