What's the big deal, so you have to walk through 4 inches of icy water to get from the CRJs to the real airplanes. It's not like any of these people had international connections and would spend the next 9 hours to Europe in cold soggy shoes and socks jammed between two plus-sized passengers in coach.

At least they don't have carry-ons, so they can climb their way into the passenger terminal like something you'd see on a Survivor immunity challenge.
