Its about time!!! Now we just need to get a Subway or something else to replace that stupid sports cafe under the B concourse. Concourse C's new arrival: Chick-fil-A | StarTribune.com |
This thread is fat.

Too bad we couldn't have the CEO of Chick-fil-a become the CEO of an airline. It would be nice bidding knowing that I would always have Sundays off.

Really? You're thrilled about a Chick-fil-A? Is it you're thrilled because it's a Chick-fil-A and that's better than McDonald's .... or, just that there's something there now filling the void? Not flaming, just curious .... Not much of a fast food connoisseur. Kind of feel like there is little difference between good fast food and bad fast food!
But, if this makes you happy, I'm thrilled for you! Adding a Chick-Fill-A to the C concourse is a huge improvement over the crap that’s currently there, now if we can just get a Burrito Beach. Lol. |
I LOVE Chic-Fil-A! I am rejoicing, being MSP based. When I commute in from Texas, I usually eat "Wok and Roll", but now I'll go to Concourse C for this.
Except on Sundays, of course. ;) |
It will be interesting to see if they can maintain the Sunday off policy. I have become friends with a few of the store owners and I'm under the impression that that stores need to be open 7 days a week.
My problem with them booting McDonalds is that you knew they were cooking new burgers. I have a problem with restaurants that pull a precooked patty out of the fridge, build the burger, throw it in the microwave and serve. I have gotten sick from these type of preps. The other problem is that McDonalds at G1 was open 24 hours. Oftentimes this was the only choice late at night. |
There are no chick fil-a's in Michigan, so I'm always glad to have one in an airport. As for the Sundays thing, don't buy into the franchise if you don't agree with them being open on Sundays. I applaud chick fila for putting conviction over profit, and they seem to do just fine.

I'm not even based in MSP, and I rarely pass through there, and I AM EXCITED!
