yeah we moved here from Colorado and our rent went from $1395/month for a 3 bedroom, 3000 sq ft townhouse to $4000/month for a 1400 sq foot apartment in Crystal City...OUCH!

We are leaning toward IAD area. No way I would want to stay in the Crystal City area......and if you think heat rises from east of the Potomac, you should see the hot air we pour out of THIS bldg.....lol

IAD- Colgan, Mesa, ASA, XJET
DCA- AWAC, Republic
BWI- Nuttin'

Lived in NOVA and was based outta IAD for 3 years. If you can afford it, it's one of the nicest places to live this side of the Mississippi...

TSA has an IAD base....I loved that base...
