9E was optional... the new uniform policy for all 3 airlines is now optional too

Funniest thing I've ever seen.

I believe 9e won't even pay half. If you want it that bad you have to pay for the whole thing yourself.

At 9E (pre-merger at least) I'd guess about 5% of the CA's wore hats, and about 90% of those that did tended to be douches. There are some really great guys out there who wear the hat, but they are in the minority. I think I've only seen 1-2 FO's who wear the hat. One of them is quite odd (always wears sunglasses in the terminal, etc).

Actually not. :D. Rant--I hate having to remember my "cover" when outside for the military. Just another thing to take up space in your hand or pocket.

I actually took this course from this professor in college. Does that make me weird?

Oh. And hats still required at Comair...it's kept quite a bit of deice fluid off my head!
