The dice were rolled and it is what it is. I've enjoyed being a CA and learned an awful lot. But when it comes time to go back to the right seat I will respectfully put back on the 3 stripe eppaulets. At least I'll still have a job which is more than I can say for a lot of pilots we work with.
Captain 152, you can be my wingman-anytime!

The difference is while the fences may hurt me, I'm not bitter. The dice were thrown, and I got craps. Oh well.

That said, I'll still wear the four stripes I earned, and I'll respect the CA to my left. If you have a problem with that, too bad.
How about being grateful you have a place to go after your airline vanishes into thin air. I remember when certain fo's used to wear the epps upside down. I don't know which is worse.

A $15,000 paycut is alot better than a 100% paycut. You'll be the new hot gossip in the crew room, congrats. Why don't you walk around and slap every FO with your extra stripe as you downgrade ahead of them at the airline they were hired by. Lightening can only strike 3 times before someone gets hurt.

And that's why things will never get better.

^^^^^^ What he said.

This thread should be removed. Half of the crap posted on here wouldn't be posted without anonymity.

Yea and if you read the post it was a reaponse to then you would understand that there is no reason for your industry superman attitude. This guy is even lucky to have a job, read a little more before you decide to lecture.

DONNY, YOURE OUT OF YOUR ELEMENT!

I did read the other post about super-pilot. It seemed on-topic with the thread, although not the digression admittedly. I think that attitude is shared by more than that super-captain.
