Combined..

What i see happening is they will be furlough till the requirements can be meet. Just like if you took a medical or equivalent leave. Most will be due to age, only a few due to High Moral Character or flight time. lol

I wouldn't sweet it. Theses Co. are gona cry bloody murder when it comes to that and the FAA will cave.

True, but I think 800 hrs will be okay. Only has to average about 50 hrs/month of block time. Seems doable

Having sat reserve for a few years at XJT, I can tell you some months I was only logging 30 or so hours. I'd work everyday I was on call, but since you can't log time sitting ARC or DHing, you're stuck with flying 4 hour three days, 10 hour four days, junk like that. Not necessarily the best time builder out there.

I have an interview monday, this isn't the news I was looking for.

Sorry but this is the way it goes, do you think all the people at Pinnacolaba were looking for the news they heard? Looks like you have a job, be thankful.

You mean that hiring is slowing down or the ATP rule issues?

Since August I've been averaging about 20 hours a month flight time. CRJ-200 ATL. In December I flew 5.52.

It is really month to month. Things can change at any time. I would interview, do the background check stuff and then get tossed in the pool. If classes open up which they most likely will towards the end of the summer then you will be in a class before you know it.

I'll definitely go for the interview, this post just backs up what I've been hearing elsewhere. fly782 I currently fly a desk for a temp job that runs out in two weeks and do not have any form of steady employment. was simply hoping for some steady work and am well aware there are many facing hard times. your comment has been noted. (and I had heard through other sources their hiring was slowing down.). I'm unsure of the ATP rule.
