I bailed from Horizon after 5 years and I'm glad I did. Looks like I'll upgrade 4 years sooner than I would have. It's a hard pill to swallow but if your an FO I'd get out for sure.

Where does the most JR CA sit seniority wise?

Most junior CA now hired in 01/09.
If 110 Pilots flow late this year/early next year that would put the most junior CA around 9/10. So about 2 1/2 years for those guys for upgrade

If delta takes 110 per year for the next 3 years then someone hired now will be around seniority 115 out of 420 by then end of 2015. Most junior CA is about 210.

Sorry if it's been asked before, but do they make you surrender your seniority number from your furloughed airline?

I'm trying to move on now. I would really like to go to compass but haven't gotten the call yet. Here's hoping.

I thought they don't have the flow rights for anyone hired after they were sold to TSA holdings?

Yeah, i am pretty sure there was a set limit for the number of flows that is well passed.

There are still about 340 who have flow through rights if I am not mistaken. Everyone on property at time of purchase from Delta retained that right. Now anyone hired after that number has a gauranteed interview with Delta instead of the flow through.

Thanks to everyone for the replies and keeping it simple. I'm about 4.5 years in at 9E (600 or so from the bottom), a former Mesaba guy. I have the base I want and hardly commute. So it's a tough decision. I have friends at Republic that think I should apply. I've thought about Compass, but they won't touch me without a 4 year degree. Which is my own fault. ExpressJet and SkyWest are on my mind as well. Now if I could just get the job at JetBlue lol

4 yr degree is no longer required, preferred, but no longer required, or at least thats what I was told by the CP
