Best Shoes

Looking for new work shoes. Don't want to have to take them off for screening (airport friendly). Loafer type (minus the tassels). Water resistant would be a plus. Not a boot guy. No doc martins. Like the pair I have but think they were built for office work. Searched but could not find anything on this topic.

Thanks.

I have a pair of Rockports that are waterproof and have held up well for over 5 years. I'd buy another pair just like them. Don't have to take them off at security.

Eccos are the way to go.

I got about three good years out of my old Dockers before switching to Ariats.

PERSPECTIVE - Black at Dockers Shoes.com

Non-metalic shank and quite comfortable.

I had a pair of slip on Dockers that were great for the last several years, but I accidentally left them on top of my car on the street last month like an idiot. Just flew my first 4 day with these and so far I really like them.

I just picked up a nice pair of Puma's at the outlet store. Slip on real easy no shank and they look nice. Best part was the price $45.

Second that, most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned.

I've had my eccos for 4 years and just replaced them with new eccos. They hold up to Jet A and Deice fluid well.

Cole Haan

I'm a firm believer that shoes are important for comfort and back support. I wear a nice pair of Cole Haan loafers that have no metal and lots of support (Nike bought them). They may be a little pricier but I've never been a fan of cheap things anyways. These have lasted me a long time and I seem to get a lot of compliments among fellow crew members; maybe because they aren't your standard nasty looking ecco shoes. Here's an example of a nice work shoes:

I buy the black obviously...
