The warning flag is now up for ALL Delta regionals. Get out now. Comair was just the first.

Didn't RA just come out and say they had a 500 mil profit?? Whats this cost structure pressure? Are they still trying to figure out how to pay a 12 year captain 240/hr??

There are very few 12 years CA's if any at Delta. The only Captains making 240 an hour have 25 plus years with the company and are limited to the top few percent of the entire pilots list.

I wonder what is stopping Delta from treating its own people that same way. It's the Nike model, nothing but a brand and marketing. Everything else is outsourced.

When there is no more outsourcing to cut, then they will go for their "own". It will be sooner rather than later at the rate they are going.

RE took over several stations from SKYW a couple years ago. Starting pay was around 8$ hr and they manned with about 1/2 the personnel. Cost structure excuse sounds like B.S., doesn't pass the smell test.

Does no one think the abysmal service they provided made any difference in this decision?

Most CAs at DL are greater than 20 years with the company.

That's kind of the point im trying to get at. They just keep lowering the pay. What kind of people do they think they are going to attract at lower wages? At some point they will lower it too far and it will become less of a customer service issue and more of a safety issue.
