Yep. I have an interview on Sep. 16. That was going to be one of my questions.

Interesting! Does anybody know what how long until you hold a line in Newark? I know it's hard to say but maybe some ExpressJet guys can chime in.
Thanks

It is impossible to tell. If you get hired at the end of a wave of hiring then you will be on reserve until they start hiring again. Generally it is better to be at the front of a wave so you only sit reserve for a month or two. Newark is a good base if you live here but commuting can be a challenge. I think this next round of hiring will be a slow but steady stream of new hires every month until majors ramp up hiring where the flood gates will open.
This new system we have of basically having the secondary bid as a PBS style award might create more relief lines. The company is currently playing with reserve %'s and #'s of relief lines so it is hard to pin down.

Totally off reserve and into hard lines (not relief lines) is over a year right now. Two most "senior" EWR FO's bidding Phase Two for September are March and June 2011 hires.

I thought we already had classes going on the crj. What I hear is we should or need to be hiring soon on the erj as well.
