LHR seems to be one of the priciest for taxes and fees. Not sure there is any legal way to get around paying that, unless your working the flight. Curious to hear if someone has some more insight though. |
It usually costs me about $90 to fly out of MAN on Delta.

It's been a long time since I've jumped on Atlas/(Polar, when they were separate), but does anyone know where to find their schedules/routes? I remember that being uber cheap aka free :)

Traveled to LHR few times on pass privileges and that's about the same I paid. I don't think it matters how, or who you travel with, those taxes and fees are collected by the UK.

Maybe connecting through Canada would be a little cheaper, LHR is one of the most expensive cities to come home from. |

I've thought about taking the train to CDG. It's $83 USD to get out of Paris. But then there's the cost of the train to take into account...
I took that train ride a few years ago to and from France, but I can't remember what taxes and fees I had to pay. Nice ride though. |
If I remember correctly, the lasttime I did an international non rev, it was the taxes that the us was charging for entry. I don't know if the tax is different based on the country you are coming from, but coming back from muc was a couple hundred bucks
