That's what happens when you read it and get excited. Make a thread. Then read a second time! Ha!

Top News UPDATE 2-Embraer sees sales rebound on U.S. orders, new aircraft Wed, Dec 12 14:42 PM EST Embraer is in preliminary talks with American Eagle, which can now fly more than 200 jets with up to 76 seats, Silva said... Where does it say that AMR is buying 200 planes? It says that they are now allowed to operate up to 200 jets. They are in talks with "American Eagle". Is that the old AE (the company), or the new AE (the brand)? |
What r you quoting? Who said AE?
"Embraer is in "preliminary talks" with American Airlines on that contract, Silva added." |
I'm quoting the article you linked to.
EDIT: It seems the site has changed the content. Your original post has "UPDATE 1" while mine has "UPDATE 2". I bet these same people publish the Jepps...:) |
Okay SJS kids, take it easy. The industry is messed up enough without everybody wondering who's gonna get to fly the EMB190s for $21,000/year and only further ruining their own career prospects. If anybody gets to fly "large" RJs for American, it will litterally kill the need for (real) American to hire for a long long time. But, hey, at least the jets are indeed neat and shiny.
