When I used to commute, I would always plan an extra flight if EV was involved! It was amazing how often I needed that extra flight, too. There was one streak where for 2 months I never was on a flight there that ran on time.

Just curious what were the reasons given for the delay? Could it be that now a previously already oversaturated ATL hub has now gotten every bit of the MEM flying out of it too? I get the pleasure of avoiding ATL just wondering if things have gotten worse since the MEM wind down....

A few days ago, I was commuting on 9E from where I live to DTW. the flight went out 3 hours late, because someone discovered that it was due for line maintenance check when it got to where I live (small town out station). Mismanagement at its finest, and certainly not pilots' fault. That being said, every regional have issues: some just have more than the others at any given moment. The Delta management could take all the flying back to the mainline and have positive control over the quality of their product once again. But they won't.

And to the OP....I suppose your incredible airline never has delays, never is affected by weather and never has maintenance issues with your 25 year old planes? Whatever, flaimbaiter. It's funny how my last 6 months at EV my flights are 100% completion, and over 85% A-0, and every one that wasn't was weather related except 2 maintenance delays. Quit *****ing and regional bashing. Check out the ATL stats, EV is not far behind DAL, and sometimes ahead.

In the last two months I've made the trip 10 times. 3 of those have made it within an hour of being on time. The rest have been an absolute embarrassment. I have gotten to the point of not commuting in uniform because I'm not going to answer for the airlines failures. To be fair however, mainline hasn't served my destination much better.

And another thing..... the other night it took 56 minutes from touchdown until I received my planeside bags. Stellar performance and proud to be involved!!!

So are you jumpseating or riding on passes?

How long did it take to get your bags once the a/c was parked?

If it sucks so bad then commute on your own airline. Ohhh you can't? Then ****.

5-7 minutes if you're not trying to milk the clock purposely. Crew Placarding at its finest.
Are you for real? Dude no one is getting paid to Crew placard so how is anyone milking the clock? I've never seen it done in under 15 minutes either.
And we don't control the deice pad. We go where they tell us when they tell us. I have my doubts you're a pilot.
Total flamebait if you ask me.
