TSA or GoJets?

it is true the G7 is backed up a little. They just reduced a Feb class from 20 to 8 but then in March it is going to pick up again. TSA is getting more aircraft so they will reduce shrinkage and maybe even grow a little and I am happy that those guys have some good news for once. I do have some friends over there and have always been treated very well by TSA guys. If you do interview at TSA and they offer you a job G7 won't look at you. I think this is pretty much an unwritten agreement between the DO's which is understandable as they both need to hire pilots.
I would look at what base they have and which one works well for you and also consider that right now G7 has a quicker upgrade which could change you never know. But g7 upgraded EVERYONE that they could last month which was 40 pilots. There are no more cqfo's and the only pilots upgrading now are the ones that are finally meeting the 4500 hour (3500+1000 G7 time) requirement. So if you have the time chances are it is an instant upgrade. If you don't have the time you will fly here about 800-900 hours a year so add that into your plans.
I do not know the reserve rules or the contract rules at TSA but at G7 the reserve rules.......I don't think we have reserve rules come to think of it.
As far as the contract goes G7's contract is .199 of an inch thick and if you do not include the cover pages it is .180 thick (I measured it) so you get the idea. But I will say this and that is I have personally run into very few problems here at G7 you tote the line show up on time and don't abuse sick call you will have no issues.
G7 has two FA's on each aircraft so twice the drama or fun or hell depending on how you look at it.
Any other questions feel free to PM me.

Mod note:
I see that the *games* have started again with the cute internet forum word games. For those of you new to the drama, or have forgotten since the last go-round, the posts will be deleted and reminders/infractions/or bans will be given as appropriate.

TSA holdings owns 3 airlines... Look into Compass.
I know guys from my current airline that left and went to GoJet. They tell me that GoJet makes Pinnacle look good. If that's the case then I would stay away.
Compass or Skywest.

Come on, everyone finds them entertaining. Can't we at least have a seperate I B F T L thread with the best of the best captions and video clips without the war of words?

If you have the time to upgrade, (4,500 total, 1000 turbine, 1000 me) and live near a base, I would consider GoJet.
That said, with the current announcement from TSA, I think TSA wouldn't be a bad move either. Do what is best for you and your family.
