So I'm curious, what about you guys that work for NetJets or one of the other fractionals or even smaller 91/135 companies that have crew ids and "official" uniforms. Do you guys have exemptions too? How about doing things like using crew lines?

The Tub Stackers of America are getting way out of hand with silly rules. I noticed over this recent holiday they are even providing the bags. Our government is spending money on ZIPLOC bags!! The reason being millions of passengers can put their toothpaste in a magic bag that will make the world safer.
I don't understand the logic of the bags in the first place. I could just put a small bottle of eyedrops in my pocket and walk through the metal detector unscathed. Shouldn't someone be concentrating on the bigger picture? I wish we could fast forward two years from now to see what America will be like. Probably not much different except Bush will be out of office. Oh darn! |

I took one flight to get our airplane out of maintenance one time and we were short notice, one way - that almost always triggers a wanding and luggage search. When the TSA guy saw my crew tag on my briefcase, he apologized profusely and said he was just doing his job and he'll get me through as quickly as possible. I said don't worry about it, I'm not in a hurry. He was actually pretty cool. If they would just all be that way, they wouldn't get such a bad reputation. |

Somebody's paying for them. Remember this when the price goes up at the supper market or your glad stock doesn't do as well.
Good point, but to Glad, it is the same or less expensive than putting a commercial on prime time TV. |

I'm 91 and I don't even try. I just try to follow the normal protocol with the rest of the cattle.
