Richard Anderson was asked when does the Pinnacle acquisition close and are you just replacing Comair with Pinnacle?

-May 1st
-It will not replace Comair, it will be the most efficient best run regional carrier in the industry

Why?

-We have fixed the scale and cost issues
-70 and 76 seaters in
-Control the product and make it like mainline

That's interesting, Lone.

Please don't spread good rumors and tell Mr. Anderson to stop saying good things about Pinnacle. I have moved up 60 spots on the seniority list in 3 months. So everything needs to be doom and Gloom until something good actually happens.

Hey ShyGuy, you can add Richard Anderson to your so called Pinnacle delusional list.

Are you taking him seriously? The analyst lady who asked the question about Pinnacle bust out laughing right when he said it will be the most efficient, best run regional carrier. She laughs. He goes it's really important to notice this. She still laughs and says "I'm sorry."

He concludes with "so much operational leverage on this move, we're excited on close on this (Pinnacle). Read between the lines. Now that 9E bent over and votes yes, they are coming after the other DCI carriers. So it's nothing to be proud of, you have set the next downward pressure spiral on other airlines, especially those in negotiations. But hey, it saved your job right?

Did he say "Pinnacle IS the most efficient, best run Regional carrier"?

or "WILL BE the most........... "

Big difference.

Now I have no idea what DL holds for Pinnacle in the future, hopefully it is positive but I would be careful getting too giddy on what is said in investors conference call.

Know your audience. These are investors they are talking to. RA, SD, and all the other officers on it are there to sell to the investors on their decisions for Delta and how it makes a positive impact on Delta's bottom line.

Of course they aren't going to come out and say we sunk 100 Million into a company just to write it off in a few years, because we didn't notice that we had a supplier who couldn't run their business and we didn't want to have a massive service disruption.

Pinnacle is still going to park a ton of fifty seaters over the next few years and not replacing them one for one. That is good from an investors point of view, not a pilot point of view.

I don't know, but I can assure you no RJ pilot is making those wages. What is a 4th year FO cap? 37/hr? Is that how little you think you are worth to vote yes to this POS? Or are you a Capt willing to take any paycut to hang on to the left seat until Delta calls.

You must have some pretty low self esteem then bro, flying around that big fancy Bus of yours with 3 times the people in the back, for $49, whose rates put a downward spiral on the legacies.....

No, I just find it ironic that a bottom feeder is calling out another bottom feeder.
