Anyone have any info to share about AQP at Compass? I have an upcoming class date but, alas, no 121 time and have been out of the game for awhile. Wondering how I can focus my preparation prior to and during new-hire training to make it as smooth and effective as possible. I have heard Compass training is geared for prior 121-types.

All my experience is single-pilot 135, so I will have much to take in and would love any insight as to how best to navigate it. Thanks all....

Easiest thing I've ever done......seriously....

Were you prior 121?

Compass does a great job with their AQP. It does require a lot more effort though if you aren't prior 121. Your best bet is to try to pair up with a prior 121 guy who can help you with the basics. Having said that, their pass rate is like 98-99% for new hires with or without 121. Just come to ground school with memory items and limitations memorized. Spend a good amount of time with the Systems portion of CBTs and you'll be way ahead of the game. Might not hurt to look at flows and profiles as well just to get a feel for them.

For initial training? I don't think that's been implemented yet.

AQP is only for recurrent at ExpressJet. Initial is old style PC/LOFT.

All training, initial, upgrade and recurrent is now AQP. It's quite a curriculum.

My upgrade class at XJT wasn't AQP... maybe we were the last to do it the old way. Newhires were doing AQP though, at least while I was in the school house Feb-Mar.

Don't quote me but SKW 175 is not AQP yet.

Just finished initial training at CPZ with no prior 121. Don't take it lightly, but don't stress out about it either. It was way easier than I expected, and I felt well prepared for each validation. Good luck!
