Not working for an airline yet but just curious. Everytime I see ANYONE say they like their job or the company they work for they get flamed for drinking to much "Kool-Aid". What exactly is wrong with some one actually liking their job these days? Is it ia crime? Does one not fit in unless they hate the airline they work for and their job? Seems pathetic if you ask me. Like I said I have never been there so maybe I will soon hate mine as well, but if someone actually does like their job and their airline why must they get flammed? It almost seems like you are expected to hate it.

I LIKE MY JOB! I'm just a flight instructor. I like teaching. I'm gonna love my job with the airline that I get hired with. (SkyWest still in the works) If I don't like it......I don't work there. It's a simple as that. Its all about attitude. There's a lot of people that just have a bad attitude and they like company so they all get together and complain. Some of thier comments are based on actuality but if they didn't really like it then hopefully they would be smart enough to leave or not put up with all the crap they talk about. Most of what you see is just people letting off steam. They don't have anywhere else to do it cause they are in a hotel out on the road somewhere and don't have anyone to talk to cause the other crewmember doesn't feel the same way about an issue and they can't discuss it. So yeah you're getting the brunt of it right here. It's all in YOUR head. you make yourself happy or p.o.ed. Yeah man don't lose hope.

 

Nothing wrong with liking your job! That’s why we got into the business. Yeah keep a positive attitude, but don’t let people walk over you cause your ignorant.

I get so tired of you flight instructors telling us that if we don’t like it leave. Or you knew what you were getting into when you applied for the job. What kind of attitude is that? With people like you, our industry will never improve.

Don’t come into the industry unless you are willing to improve it.

That does not mean being negative and bitching every second, just a understanding of your position as a professional and a desire to improve the industry.
