The perspective I would like to add here is that size does count, actually. If you are actively looking to move on to a job overseas, like Emirates or Air Japan, the recruiters have a weight qualifier on the experience they are looking for. Oddly, the difference in CRJ200 and the E145 is important when applying for Ar Japan through PARC. And Emirates wold really like to see 30 tones. E145 time is worthless for these places.

With that said, I still would not be moved to accept less money and QOL just to fly them. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

Its easy to hate RAH but remember there is a difference between the pilot group and the management.

If the management is so bad why would you choose to work there and then complain about it? Where you work is your choice.

Please take this conversation elsewhere.

Considering only about 10% of the airline jobs that exist have good management (that's probably a stretch too). Don't see how its possible for us all to work at a "good" company. Are you completely satisfied with the wages you are paid to work at a regional? You better not complain because "where you work is your choice". Besides I wasn't complaining about anything just trying to give an education to someone who doesn't understand that a pilot group is not responsible for the actions of its management.

The hating comments are hilarious. Dealing with a bunch of immature kids who will be first in line to bid to fly it when they get them. Grow up kids.

Obviously AMR management has pulled a fast one on you guys. They have signed a CPA with a Brazilian airline to be the new American Eagle. The proof is the Brazilian registration on the first jet.
OMG!! sarcasm

Get out much? You're being serious, aren't you? ALL the planes come off a Brazilian line with a Brazilian registration number!! Do some research first! Every 170/175 we fly has come to the states without an N number.

Most CRJ200 pilots are paid better than the Ejet pilots. I don't know why people make such a big deal about the Ejets and higher pay. It's an airplane with 76 seats just like the CRJ900. It even has the same engines just mountain under the wing for the "cool" guys

You do realize that airplane manufacturers use registration numbers in the country because the airplane must still be functioned but it hasn't been issued an air worthiness certificate and it doesn't belong to an American Airlines so it can't have an N registration. When RAH takes custody of said airframe then they will file to register it in the US and the tail number will change.

CRJ200's blow. Have you ever seen a smokin hot girl get on one of those pieces of **** and say "awesome! I love this plane, it's so spacious!" The fact is that no pax is impressed with your piece of **** little plane, they don't care about your trips, QOL, etc. Everyone hates it.
