Quote: There are exceptions. The HQ of an airline is a pretty rock solid base.

Example: DFW for AA/Eagle. Guaranteed to never shut down. ATL for Delta, ORD for United and their respective regionals.

Otherwise, yeah...it's a crapshoot.
Yeah and mem with 9e......

Someone clarify, the E190 base at Denver for Frontier (operating as Frontier Express?) is closing? So where do the E190s go? And these are Republic original pilots, and not Frontier original pilots, correct?

Where do the E190s go and what replaces this flying out of DEN? Mainline Airbus?

These are all Republic pilots. F9 pilots are only on the Airbus. What I was told is that the 190's left will be staffed with MCI and DCA crews and still fly for F9. Who knows what'll happen after the sale of F9. A plane or 2 may also be added to cover additional Ceasars flying.

How long will it take to get the RJ pilot stench outta the crew room? Seriously, at least this retarded failure of an experiment is almost over.

It's tough to justify moving anywhere for and airline unless you are very mobile. Commuting sucks but it comes with the biz.
