Do the math, how long is it going to take to get your money back in a lateral move and living at year one regional pay again? 9E is just like having GoJets on your resume, face it, you are either going to have to leave the country to fly or stick it out in the regional world.

You are going to take back what this industry took from you? What did you have taken for you? You willing accepted a job that paid you a wage that you feel is not commensurable with your skills/experience? And you did this twice? Management loves it when regional pilots jump to other airlines, another experienced pilot they get to pay first year rates to again. When the cuts come at Skywest where are you going to jump to? It isn't going to look good for your next job when you have to list Pinnacle in your employment history either. You might as well just settle in at good old Skywest. Hopefully when you have a family the offered HRA health plan is sufficient for you and your family. Maybe by that time you won't even be offered an employee health care option (and without a vote in the matter either).

With that said 9E still sucks but it will not affect your resume and Skywest will definitely not make you some amazing applicant.
