Quote: US Airways has indicated that if the Eagle pilots do not enter into this agreement with management, then it will source these deliveries elsewhere. The burden now falls on our brothers and sisters at other carriers to take their own stand and stop further degradation of the industry by making concession after concession for the promise of new metal. We will continue to support them in this cause.

Fraternally,

I can only hope the rest of the pack stands strong. RAH..... TSA.... we can only hope.

TSA is with you guys. We sure as hell won't be voting in a b-scale. (No promises about the alter-ego though)

Define "may not have a choice."

There is always a choice. Eagle was just threatened with becoming the next Comair. Eagle decided to stand firm. Might work out poorly for them...but they chose to hold the line. There is ALWAYS a choice.

Too bad the merged Pinnacle MEC or pilots didn't have those kind of stones.

we all know republic pilots would vote for concessions since most of them all ready sold themselves out just going to work there.

Nice job kids.

Not one person I know at SkyWest would allow a B-scale with millions on the bank.. Pay freeze could be a sad reality with Pinnacle, Republic, GoJets and Mesa contracts out there, but you won't see a B-scale here.

Job well done.

Our own ALPA national was pressuring us to take the deal. ALPA National has become a pathetic bunch of Losers! So much for fighting for the industry.

What are you talking about?

The PNCL MEC rejected and fought many fronts before being confronted with the endgame.

This was round one.

Good for Eagle, but it's not over yet.

First I want to say Thank You to all Eagle pilots for trying to move the industry in the right direction. I wish more of our co-workers understood this. One company can not do it alone, we must all stand up together. After what has transpired with company after company lowering the bar over the past years, this may be our last chance to reverse course. Everyone who has helped lower the bar can criticize, justify or try and defend what happen, but they had a choice just like everyone else.

I hope for the sake of this business people have finally started to realize, management can battle us one front at a time, but they don't stand a chance against all 10,000+. Whether you are a career regional guy or have dreams of moving on, your choice to say "NO" will work out better for you and your family in the end.

A whipsaw doesn't work if there is no one willing to stand there and take it! You can be assured I have and ALWAYS will vote NO to concessions, if I am not moving forward I sure as hell am not going to move backwards!

Fly Safe and Best Regards to ALL!
