121 Turboprop PIC vs 121 Jet SIC

Whats more important and why? I've heard different opinions from different people. Wanted to get your guy's opinion

Turbine is turbine, no matter if is jet or turbo prop. What it counts is the 1,000 TPIC.

Good question. Depends where you would like to end up ultimately. Jet PIC should trump both, but Turboprop PIC will get you in the door at Southwest, Alaska and others who want to see that 1000 PIC tubine time. That being said, Delta has hired first officers who only had jet SIC time. Depending on what regional a pilot flys for, they could fly one-two years as a fo on a jet then if the opportunities arrives, bid over to the Turbo Prop to get their PIC time. That would depend also on that regional seat lock procedures.
Your goal should be to get that senioity number at the major of YOUR choice-if your the lucky few to do this-and get the facts on what THAT airline wants.

We all know women find a turboprop to be more sexy than a jet thingy. So, I help this helps you.

This is confusing.

Certain foreign airlines don't consider turboprop time, only jet time. But in the domestic USA, turbine PIC is still TPIC.

This is complete FACT.

My level at which I attract women has plummeted since I became a jet CA. Back in the SAAB days I had to shake them off...
