I tried to get a hold of recruiting but no answer. I sent an email so I hope they respond. IF they reschedule, I am afraid it will be during the class I already have scheduled with PSA. I'm glad I am already hired but was looking forward to the Eagle interview for, at minimum, the experience.

Did you ever hear anything back from them?

Where did he go? And did you expect him to sit around a regional. he is a young guy who went after career progression. You stayed, most of us won't.

Regionals are not filling classes right now.

That's the problem right there. You and many others have become the conduit for a lie. I doubt any turbine part 121 operator has ever had 100 resumes on file. Don't spread misinformation.

None of them are having trouble filling classes.

Keep telling yourself these things over and over again until you realize how foolish they sound.

Eagle sure is having trouble. They haven't come close to their target numbers for the year that they publically announced.

Maybe because they stopped hiring for a long time? What do yoi think? would that do it? I doubt they can hire 600 if they have to stop because they are overmanned.

They wouldn't be walking people rudely out of interviews if they had no problems.

"But my friend who works at mesagopublic told me they had no one show up to a turboprop class earlier this year"

It's never happened and never will, especially when so many pilots are underemployed.

You doubt Skywest, Expressjet or Compass has 100 resumes on file?

I must be MISunderstanding what you meant by the bolded above.
You doubt that ANY P121 turbine operator has ever had 100 resumes on file?
So......Delta - a P121 turbine opeartor - has never had 100 resumes on file?
Or are you trying to limit the statement to Regionals - of which then you'd say that SkyWest has never had 100 resumes on file either?

While they aren't having trouble finding people to interview, the average candidate in the pool has dropped in experience. In addition, many applicants are interviewing at multiple regional carriers at the same time.

I know for a fact that companies are having no-show/no-calls on the first day of indoc. Not necessarily due to lack to available pilots, but more because pilots are again able to be a bit more discriminating in who they work for.
