I was just in CRP and the ground crews there (all XJT) already knew about this. It is for the CAL flying and CHQ will be basing pilots down there. We (XJT) have a maintenance base there too and we will be relocating them also.

No SWA flying for them, yet.

Do you honestly think SWA will start flying to Mexico / Canada? Why?

Your quote at the bottom there says that embry-riddle is the harvard of aviation. I must have got ripped off because UND's brochure told me that they are "like harvard at 30,000 feet." I guess I can't make fun of it since I bought the hype and got my degree from there. Oh well.

LOL...Are you serious?

"like Harvard at 30,000 feet" - Do you guys have a latin motto for your flying society like ERAU?

Except SWA's service to CRP stinks. Most CRP people drive to SAT to use SWA.

Because in business if you aren't growing, you're either stagnating or shrinking. There are only so many domestic city-pairs that SWA can serve before they are out of worthwhile combinations and will have to look elsewhere.

That is seriously what the brochures said when they were sending me stuff to try and get me to go there. I never seen anything higher than FL140 while I was there.

I did not participate in any flying team activities while I was there so I'm not sure if they have a latin motto.

Dude, he's baiting you. Who gives a flip who the "Harvard of the skies" is (and I went to UND!!!)? Thats like arguing for the title of hottest fat girl. The Latin motto thing was some dumb "latin/greek" phrase that ERAU's Super Special Pilot Club (or whatever it was called) had that loosely translated was gibberish.

And FYI FL140 is not a flight level, its an altitude. Unless you are through transition level, you are just flying an altitude.
