Amen! That thing bugs be even in visual conditions. If you're more than 10nm out and try to capture the localizer, good luck. You'll be bobbin and weavin all the way in.

That's probably due to aircraft blocking the signal on the ground as they taxi by the antenna. It happens all the time, especially in good weather when they aren't holding short of the ILS critical area.
