If you have to commute to a regional airline job then there are much better options than Republic. Unless of course Republic is the ONLY airline that exist at your home base and you're just awaiting a transfer back there.

I'm anxious to get into the MIA base....so I'm ready to put in hard time elsewhere to get down to Miami. I have yet to be assigned a base but have heard PIT is very junior and time spent on reserve is minimal. I suppose other bases might be easier as a commuter w/ RAH.

I'm PIT based, commute from MCO. I usually pay for a hotel on the front or back end of a trip. U can stay at America's Best Value for $45/night. It's a $hithole. There is also the much nicer Wundam for $60/night. I've had zero luck w/ crash pads there, however I'll be Miami based starting 4/1.

Looks like sitting on reserve is going to lead to negative cash flow for a little while, lol. #Regionals.
