If we all had tailor made custom fitted uniforms that didn't come from a mail order catalog we would look snappy too.

I don't see a foreign crew ever doing 6 leg turns out of Atlanta to podunk USA for example. Could you imagine 30 years from now, the US Legacy airlines have been decimated by foreign cabotage and the only airlines still in business are the regionals?!

Whatever the outcome, learn from the generations past and do your due dilligence in saving for retirement. Don't trust other people with your money and live below your means.

Hmmm...Oh,they will be foreign crews, just on US airlines.Ever hear of H1-B ? "Pilot shortage" solved.Airlines will plead about the "pilot shortage" and "We can't find qualified pilots !",etc.Take a look at your new hires-where are they from ? Gate, ramp ? It's happening right now.No cabotage worries. Now if they can just get rid of those pesky unions !

I don't necessarily like unions, but they serve a basic protective function. As long as you don't kill the golden goose laying the eggs (or cripple it's ability to continue laying the golden eggs), let bygones be bygones.

Ask the US Merchant Marine fleet how it has worked out for them.
