Hey guys glad to see that you are excited about comming to work for Comair, but I am confused why. I have been here for about 9 yrs, just got out of rec. ground school and VP of FLOPS was talking doom and gloom. The class started grilling him, one guy 4 yr FO; no chance for upgrade for about 2 to 3 more yrs, told him that he cant support his family as things are. VP replied, if you are not happy here and cant support your family you should quit. Nice. So, if you want to be based in that hell whole known as JFK and fly as an FO for 5-6 yrs then be told to quit b/c the buisness model is keep a jr. group, then welcome to CMR. I fly with guys all the time that **** and moan, I tell them to go to CHAt. at least they will upgrade and get PIC. So, unless you are from NYC then I would never think about coming here. It could be a great place to work, but there must be some reason why 35 guys a month most jr to me are leaving...Good luck, if you come here hopefully you can stay positive.

I believe its called "jumping at the first thing that comes along". I know buffalopilot for one is grasping at straws, having been to 6 interviews without any luck before getting on at Comair. But anyway, speculation is worthless. I hope for the best for you guys at Comair. You guys tried to raise the bar and will always have my respect.

Comair is a company I've always wanted to work for. Unfortunatly, it is not the company it once was due to Deltas problems and all. I was offered an interview at Eagle and Mesa. Mesa, no thanks. Eagle, they don't tell you what you'll be flying or where. Not interested in being SJU based. Upgrade is longer than Comair. I'm sure I will get JFK out of school but hopefully will be able to bid Cincy before too long. Kind of a bummer, living in florida right near a base and having no chance of getting it, ever.

I confused you with someone else, my mistake. Just seemed like every other day you had a new thread about a different airline but I guess that was just applications or something.
