Proof they need us more than we need them

If you have read you Co. Emails, there is proof they need us more than we need them.

"They", the Co., seem worried pilots will dequal tonight for not completing required training. While I think it's unprofessional, and those who don't complete the training should bear the cost of dequaling, it is proof that XJT, both sides, is not staffed and they need pilots to operate.

Stand Firm. And vote NO.

Now go back to the table and get us an agreement we deserve.

I heard the amount of red in open time at xjet is pretty ridiculous right now. They definitely need us more than we need them.

Not just for Eagle pilots. A few months ago, PSA lowered the bar. Now Eagle pilots are being asked to stoop to their (PSA) level.

If Eagle and XJT accept the proposals, SKW will be the next target, then Air Wisconsin, then Horizon, then Mesa etc.

By the time that cycle is done, we'll all be flying 90 seat "RJ's" and management will outsource more of the flying to regionlas, which leads to fewer mainline jobs, and puts downward pressure on mainline salaries.

For the first time, the "shortage" may be a real thing, at least at the regional level. This is the only chance we've got at RAISING the standard, instead of actively lowering it.

Pilots of XJT and EGL have a chance to raise the bar for ALL regional pilots. Please think carefully before accepting concessions.

Don't know if we can raise any bar...keep it where it is and not lower it any further, but no raise.

It's my understanding that Compass raised it...

Raising it from their current contract…yes…but I don't think it still compares to what is currently at XJT or even the crap of a TA that we just got.

You missed the point...for you and I here at Eagle, it will remain status quo or worse. We will always remain under attack. As for Compass, as long as you're at Eagle, it will at least be status quo. Nothing more, but alway less.

Yes, agree. For as long I've been here (4th yr guy) we always been under attack.

They want lower longevity, but metering the guys flowing into AA.
