Heck, even some the senior pilots there who know better like RJ are ready to lick the AIP because they think the center of the tootsie pop will taste good at least for him. I say at least half have their tongues out ready to go and that will be enough. |
Voting No regardless of airframe total.
I don't think it wil happen, because this is all fear mongering, but the best deal is the 60% flow that kicks in when they start furloughing. |
Student loans?
So Envoy wants to cap FO pay at 4 yrs...? Is this for all FOs or just new hires? Is it a B-Scale tied to recovering (hypothetical) training funds or some sort of increased student loan funding that the airlines know is going to have to happen soon? An indentured servant type deal? Or are they just raping and pillaging?

Is that it? I saw some loosely worded program descriptions, but nothing what you reffered to. Just wondering if you speculated or something is brewing. I really hope they don't do this because it would mean that airlines would take only from their respective programs. |
As a SouthFlorida native eagle was my top choice. Even though I now fly out of my home town I still see eagle as an option since commuting on FO pay is horrible. Does anyone think that eagle will lose their MIA base if they don't sign this concessionary contract. I know that base has a lot of reserves so what should a junior guy expect to fly there a month since you will need 2000 hours with the company to qualify for the new AA preferential hiring.

Waaaait aaaaa minute.. Aren't we supposed to get 170 yes thats 170 airframes- E175's with this new proposal provided we vote yes? If that happens, upgrades will drop to 2-3 yrs and flow thru will move faster.
But vote NO, and???? well who knows…… WRONG PAL: 170 airframes on property NOT 170 new airframes Parker is banking on idiots like this reading info INTO statements made through Eagle wire (inter company communication) and NOT through our elected MEC. |
