You should get the full pic rating and ATP.

I believe e2c was saying you need just your ATP written complete to apply.

Thanks Moonwolf, you're an abundance of information!

Yeah. What I meant. Working nights is making any post from me between 0800-1600 pretty much a drunk post.

Are there any Guard/Reserve AWAC people (past or present) with AWAC on the forums?

I searched a few of the threads and couldn't find any. I'd like to pick their brains on the ins and outs of working both jobs. I'm a new hire and this is my first airline job, so I'd like to get some inside info if possible.

Cheers!

W

Well, I'll let you know when I'm done with training!

A friend of mine who was in my AWAC class 3 years ago is in the Reserve. Pretty sure he gets can get off his trips when he needs it with no problem, and took off about a year and a half from AWAC on military leave.

Thanks for the replies! I've gotten some good info via PM.

I'm out of training and on the line now. This is my first airline job, and I've learned a ton in the past few months. I'm still convinced I made the right choice for regional jobs so far.

I'm trying to work a good balance between regional and the guard without burning any bridges at either place.

Any AWAC news

Any news of class dates or recent hires? Any Air Whiskey info would be great.

I'm scheduled for a class on March 17.

class dates: march 3rd, 17th, April 7th. I interviewed feb 10th and got the 3rd but deferred to the 17th. Seems like every two-ish weeks, I think they're interviewing 2 days a week every week.
