This is all second-hand info-

Interviews are at KCPK (Chesapeake Regional, south of ORF) with HR, an assistant CP, and maybe the chief instructor (if he has time). There is a small written test (10 questions maybe), RedBird sim eval, technical interview, and HR interview. Don't worry about the test (so long as they haven't changed it). They want to see basic instrument skills in the sim (intercepting, tracking, timed turns, climbs/descents at certain rates/airspeeds, holding, and an ILS). I believe it is configured as a Seminole. Technical might see a KAVL approach plate. HR is pretty standard (why AWAC, etc.). Don't lie on your resume, don't embellish. Have a good attitude.

I believe they fly you into ORF (good luck) and you're on your own from there to get to CPK. I think they're still getting candidates to ORF via space available tickets. If you really want to get there, I'd look into alternate means of getting to town.

I recently interviewed, the gouges are accurate, and I was not surprised by anything. Everyone is really nice and you will enjoy it.

Air Wisconsin Pilot Interview Profiles

That stinks y'all don't interview in Appleton anymore.. that sure was an experience I won't forget. Really made me excited about Air Wisconsin and showed me an "at home" atmosphere.

Everything already mentioned is correct, although the Redbird is configured as a Duchess. Apparently the airport and approach in the sim varies, but it's just testing basic instrument skills. You will enjoy this interview (except for the drive from ORF to CPK). Fly in if you can! Be yourself, relax, don't exaggerate - they are looking for the right fit for the company.

I interviewed this past week. My experience - Sim (configured as a Be76 Dutchess as indicated). Departure, fly direct to VOR, enter holding for 1 turn, vectors to ILS full stop, 300 OVC. Sim is very pitch sensitive - use manual trim. Stay on the HSI almost until touchdown. I had it pegged until I started looking out the window and got a bit of vertigo with the visual graphics.

Interview with two people (HR and Chief Pilot for one of the bases)

5 approach plates to answer questions about (you pick NOAA or Jepp)

10 questions multiple choice exam from ATP.

Answer questions about common airport markings (they give you the picture of the sign)

5-6 HR questions. Never had one "tell me about a time." More like, what can you bring to AW? What are your strengths? Weaknesses?

Note there's a document you have to bring that must be notarized WHEN you sign it (driver records request). I got the offer to interview on a friday for a monday interview so could not get it done in advance. They have a Notary there. So do not sign this without the Notary present.

After the face to face portion I was offered the job on the spot and sent for a drug test at a different location on way back to airport.

Only been a few days so waiting for the background checks to clear (no worries, but this stuff can get bogged down in some HR office somewhere)
