I was working near the GLA ramp in Denver this week, normally a pretty empty place at night since most of their equipment used to spend the night in the outstation. Not the case anymore. Several of the 1900s had quite a bit of snow on them.

On the positive side, if you're flying out of Denver on Lakes, your flight won't be canceled for mechanical reasons.

There was a time, about 10 years ago, a cfmeii with 2,000 hours would cut off their pinkie finger to work for Lakes. Get in, a couple months, a pretty girl could upgrade, and is now a captain at American. The different outcomes of this profession are bizarre.

There was also a time when people paid for SIC time, wore parachute pants, and put leaded gas in their car.

You mean 20 years ago

Captain at American hired around 2004?

Sometimes you have to shoot a hostage. GLA folding up would be a huge warning shot to other regionals.
