I'm surprised that CZ is thought of having a swift upgrade, I figured things would be slow over there.
A lot of their folks were grandfathered for flow-through to DAL, so there should be massive movement in the next couple years assuming DAL hires.

Mesa's schedules are horrible right now. Company does not plan on making them more efficient any time soon. 77 hour lines with min days off. Anyway should be a quick upgrade but you really need to live in base. I commute and running a 6 day trip with 2 days off is really sucking right now.

6 day trip?!? Are you on reserve? Surely they don't schedule six day trips for line holders? What about trip mix, 1, 2, 3 day trips?

4day backed up by a 2day or 3day backed up by a 3day. It's not really a 6day trip. But when you commute, you don't fly home on the split.

Are you bidding a pretty junior line? Surely it's got to be better for those higher up in seniority. You've got to be having a huge block of days off somewhere with that schedule, even with min days off? At least one block of six off, otherwise you'd be flying four 'six' day trips a month with only six days off.

I am below 10 in base out of 130 (pretty senior). The most days off in a row that I have been getting is 3. I'm not bull****ting, the schedules are sucking and everyone is *****ing.

Jesus, that's horrific! Is anyone getting anything more than 12 days off?

I lied, from the 4th to 18th I am working 12 days with 2 off. The I get 4 days off whoo hoo, then another 6 day trip with 2 off.

Some people are. But the 4 day trip average credit is around 17.5. So it's tough for PBS to build a line over 77 hours with more than 11 days off. I think about 95 percent of the folks here are just getting 11 days off. A lot of people that are living in base are just bidding reserve. Reserves aren't working a lot right now so what's the point if you can't bid a 90 hour line for better pay.

Chasing the quick upgrade usually don't turn out well...
