There minimums aren't that high at all. I would think that they would be getting a rush of applications in the next few days! Looks like the regionals are once again going to start feeling the drain. They already need pilots due to attrition and some for expansion, but a mass exodus to the majors would hurt kind of much there, eh? I know that there wouldn't be a mass exodus, but you know what I mean.

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Yeah, the regionals have been in a pinch, and it'll only get worse in '07.

Well, what goes around comes around. I can remember having an argument with someone a year or so ago about the 'thousands' of pilots on the street and that no airline would be hiring for probably 10 years.
I told him him how many furloughed pilots from the Legacy carriers had found new airlines or left the industry. Retirements and other attrition, plus the fact that only a fraction of the furloughed pilots would return would lead to a shortage in the not-so-distant future. I still believe that.
Waiting for Boyd to call!!!
