Wow. It would be better if you just admitted that your statement might have been a bit of exaggeration instead of the rapid backpeddling. :(
You are trying to make an argument on a hobo living in Hawaii and the Hawaiian ops have been closed for nearly a year?
Clarence.....did you use to work at Pacific Wings? What experience did you bring to the table to be able to make such a dramatic statement - "You most likely won't leave the airline without getting fired, violated, or dead. Get the picture?"

I once got chased by a hobo in Hawaii, at 4am

Terrible

I had a terrible experience with them. I made it out with my certificate intact, but I worried about it on a daily basis. From what I hear there is a new management team, but I cannot imagine it is any better. Having to sign a training contract for right seat in a caravan is a joke and the owner is a litigious snake. They have been chased out of nearly every market they have ever served while chasing EAS contracts. From someone that didn't believe the message boards when I was offered the job, believe them! Don't do it. Don't waste your time. Yes, your life might actually depend on it. I was certainly placed in dangerous situations by management that could easily have lead to my demise.

Can you give us a couple examples?

There are plenty examples across the board, from the Chief Pilot talking pilots into exceeding duty limits, then calling the FAA on them. The same CP pressuring and downright telling pilots to fly broken, dangerously broken, airplanes. If they would refuse, there was "a stack of resumes on the desk of pilots that will". Being told to fly into unsafe (uncertified) weather conditions. There are plenty more where that came from. I nearly lost my desire to fly for a living at that company. Thankfully there was light at the end of the tunnel.

Getting violated? Sure, if you're breaking regs, but that's on you as a pilot. Ending up dead? That's one I haven't heard and last I checked they have never had an accident. Please explain that one.

FWIW, the old CP/DO, DJ now works at the ABQ FSDO.

they have had a fatal accident where the pilot and all passengers ended up dead on take off .they told us about it in training. it was very long time ago though.

Any new info on Pacific Wings, more specifically New Mexico airlines? Website doesn't have any info for pilot jobs . Their new physical address is a po box in Arizona. Thanks everyone

do not do it man. I was stupid enough not to believe all the stories I read online.I took the job and that was the worst decision I ever made in my life. The FAA revoked a pilot's license and violated others while I was there. They will ask you to break the FARs and if you refuse you will be fired on the spot.DO not DO it.RUN for your life

If he won't listen on here maybe he needs to do it and then he will learn. And there you go by the way my original statement WAS CORRECT. I just forgot how long ago it was.

And you are trying to backup your statement by saying that because an airline had ONE fatal accident that you - with no first hand experience of the company - feel justified in making such a statement. So you are afraid of any major airline too since they have all seen much of the same to varying degrees? Pushed on the regs, maintenance, fatal mishaps, and the such?
At least some of these other posters have actually worked there and can speak from first hand experience about the challenges of working at this employer. It seems that you parrot the information you read to come off as knowledgable.
