Pacific Wings info

Any new info on Pacific Wings, more specifically New Mexico airlines? Website doesn't have any info for pilot jobs . Their new physical address is a po box in Arizona. Thanks everyone

Just no. No no no no no no no no no. Do NOT go there under any circumstance. You will regret it. There are much better ways out there to build time. Stay away from that **** hole excuse of an "airline".

You most likely won't leave the airline without getting fired, violated, or dead. Get the picture?

Worked there. I also worked at Mesa Airlines. Pacific wings makes mesa airlines look really good. Multiple people were fired in the 4 months i was there. I feared resigning, thinking they would fire me within my 2 week notice, as they did with others. This place is horrible, don't even consider it, it will hurt your career.

Also the name is a bit of a misnomer.

I know nothing about what is going on there now but the CP and President/DO are both gone so it might be different.

dont do it... I used to work there and it is HORRIBLE! NO NO NO NO. just get your time and ATP elsewhere and save a ding on your record. Just google these items... Greg Kahlstorf, New Mexico Airlines, Pacific Wings, Georgia Skies, and you find all sorts of news articles that you can read for yourself and make your own decision.

I do know they only operate out of Albuquerque now, and only have 2 routes going. Los Alamos and Carlsbad. The rest of the fleet of 208's I think are parked.

The place is absolutely terrible, no doubt. I agree with there being a good chance of being fired, I've seen lots of people fired for various reasons, most of the reasons are ridiculous. Getting violated? Sure, if you're breaking regs, but that's on you as a pilot. Ending up dead? That's one I haven't heard and last I checked they have never had an accident. Please explain that one.

FWIW, the old CP/DO, DJ now works at the ABQ FSDO.

I never said you would die from flying for pacific wings. But you might since you would be making less than what a hobo makes in hawaii. I think the hawaii op is gone now though.

Did I misread something?

Also, yes Hawaii ops are gone. They shutdown last summer.
