Spirit Airlines sees no pilot shortage

Of course, they are not a regional carrier.

How is this even news? The shortage isn't at the major level and may never get there.

Well then there's not a shortage of pilots. Pilots just don't want to work at regionals.

You're right. Your simplistic view of supply and demand is spot on. Also, there's not global climate change because Chicago had a cold winter. In other news, salmon is still at Walmart so isn't at risk of being overfished.

If no one wants to clean toilets and it forces employers to raise wages to attract toilet cleaners it doesn't necessarily mean there's a shortage of qualified toilet cleaners.

Then, go work there. Also, Year 2 is more than there.

I fly a worn out Metro doing on demand freight. Not glamorous, but I make quite a bit more than most regional FOs. I would love to work for a regional, but I'll sit on the sidelines until they raise the pay.
