XJT Pilot 04-04-2014 08:22 AM

Nice job guys...now let's all come together and organize a strike vote between all three pilot groups. Let the heads roll!

DC8DRIVER 04-04-2014 08:22 AM

I see an industry wide trend has been established and is growing.
Congratulations, RAH pilots!
This will give courage to those who will follow. I think you all are redefining the profession and helping to raise the bar for us all.
Keep up the good fight.

I just jumped up and down in my living room clapping and laughing like a little school girl.

Amazing work!

bretthull 04-04-2014 08:23 AM

And with that PSA stands alone as the only group to sellout. Good job RAH!

It's funny that you think regional pilots are going to come together on any issue.

I agree I sure hope this trend continues in the industry and we're all finally treated the way highly trained professionals deserve!

Well, were on the right tract with this vote. Where we all go from here is up to us.

Look at the responses in the "Skywest pilot in Calgary" thread and see how many regional pilots are truly willing to help each other out. If you want an example of two union carriers I commute on Eagle quite a bit and those guys have some great things to say about RAH pilots when they pass each other in the alley.

Pilots are never going to play nice with each other.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Aside for that, nice job RAH guys!

Taking a gun through KCM is almost as bad as being a yes voter.

Xbone 04-04-2014 08:42 AM

This is a great vote. And resounding. Congratulations RAH.

Its more like regional pilots that are trying to help the profession not willing to support those who are not. I'm always infuriated that the XJT negotiations are hampered by the fact that some of SkyWest's pay and work rules piggyback on whatever we get. The ASA and XJT MEC's have the extra burden of negotiating for a pilot group that isn't even part of the merger and wants absolutely nothing to do with us, even though they stand to potentially get some impressive gains without doing any work.

Anyway, rant over. Nothing personal against SkyWest guys. They've always been courteous and professional, I just wish they would back the rest of us up.

We've just witnessed 10,000 pilots back each other up, not to mention the pilots at Silver who voted no and the pilots at Commutair who just made some pretty significant gains with no concessions. Unprecedented. I think the regional landscape is about to change drastically. I hope we price ourselves out of the RJ industry and mainline takes on those shiny new DC9 sized jets.

We at ASA/XJT salute you!

Hhmm. Wondering how the PSA guys are feeling now?

Congrats to the XJT, AE, and RAH guys who think about more than just themselves. We're "takin it back." "Let's roll!"

Ultralight 04-04-2014 08:59 AM

Its time for the big regionals to sit down with U.S. Airways / American, United, and Delta and just all agree that the game is over. Its time to stop playing stupid games and address the issue.

The message is clear. Regional pilots will no longer put up with being treated like apprentices on intern pay playing second fiddle to their mainline masters.

Multi million dollar 75 seat aircraft flying 3 hour+ flights and serving international destinations is not puddle jumping.

Congratulations guys. You should be proud of yourselves.

pilot2927 04-04-2014 09:00 AM

Good job RAH pilots and Thank you

From us at XJT (and I'm sure from the folks at Eagle)... "Thanks RAH!!!"
Nice job!
